Cheryl Foggo is an award-winning director, screenwriters, playwright and author. Born in Alberta, her work frequently explores the history of Black pioneers in Western Canada. Her documentary John Ware Reclaimed, about the legendary Black cowboy John Ware, CTV Alberta Feature Audience Choice Award at the 2020 Calgary International Film Festival.
